NS Corporation is thrilled to announce that a new bus and flex vans wash system has been installed for the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA).

Playing an important role in the Toledo-area commuting experience, TARTA serves as an essential connection within the Toledo metro area, facilitating access to employment, education, healthcare, and various other destinations and is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the community can access transportation services.

After more than 50 years of use, NS Corporation replaced the old bus wash system with its 3000 series machine, which had been initially designed for a similar project with the NYCTA and can clean up to 60 buses per hour.

“This is something that has been needed for a long time, so it is wonderful to see it become a reality,” said TARTA’s CEO Laura Koprowski. “We thank NS Corporation for being a wonderful partner on this project, and we look forward to putting this machine to good use and putting cleaner vehicles on the road.”

TARTA plans to clean fifty fixed-route vehicles per day and Flex vans will also be included in the daily wash.
