After driving by a car wash used by the Inglewood Police Department, N/S Corporation’s team saw that the wash system was in dire need of essential repairs. According to N/S Corporation’s President, Christopher Altschul, everyone at N/S Corporation “considered it our duty to stand behind The Inglewood Police Department.” We value the police department’s commitment to keep us safe, and the risks they take on our behalf. As concerned members of the community and professional wash system experts, we felt it was our responsibility to give back to the police force that protects our city. What They Do for Us With just 186 sworn personnel and 92 civilian support personnel, the Inglewood Police Department provides multiple resources to our community. Whenever there is a need for specially trained K9 teams, directed enforcement units, scientific services investigators, and bike teams, the Inglewood Police Department is there to help. They even assist with community affairs, along with fiscal services and recruitment. After being chartered on February 14, 1908, this department celebrated 100 years in 2008. The police force that protects and serves this community has maintained its integrity and dedication for over a century. As a beacon for South Bay, they’ve created a place where residents can live in peace by reducing crime and enhancing their quality of life. Because of everything they do for us, N/S Corporation took a moment to reflect on the impact we could have on their lives. What We Did for Them When our crew arrived at the carwash, they noticed a number of items needed to be repaired or replaced. Many of the metal parts were extremely rusted and covered in grime, and the brushes were full of dirt and soap scum. As the service crew inspected the wash system, they repaired, cleaned, and replaced brush pelts, motors, gear reducers, pumps, pressure guns, and a number of other miscellaneous hardware. After scrubbing, washing, and installing, we’re proud to say that the car wash that police vehicles use in Inglewood is now sparkling and clean.
