Complete Tire And Wheel Wash Systems

Tires and wheels frequently attract dirt, debris, and other particles left on roads. Depending on where drivers go, it’s quite easy for wheels and tires to accumulate caked-on dirt and grime. Dirt and grime often include corrosive elements, like brake dust and road salt. Left untouched, these elements damage tires and wheels, shortening their livespans. Keeping a small car’s wheels clean is challenging enough. When dealing with large trucks and buses, the challenge becomes overwhelming.

Provide a professional cleaning with our heavy-duty wheel wash systems.

WHEEL AND TIRE WASH SYSTEMS TACKLE HEAVY-DUTY GRIME

Often used as mobile billboards, transit vehicles depend on looking good to promote the right image. Understandably, transit fleet operators want their automobiles to be as clean as possible. That cleanliness also includes the wheels and tires of these large automobiles. Investing in our tire and wheel wash systems helps ensure transit vehicles look fully clean.

Beyond aesthetics, clean tires and wheels last longer. Transit vehicles can handle longer trips and tougher work cycles while minimizing wear on tires and wheels. Your truck wheel wash systems can help transit vehicles earn money while saving considerably on maintenance costs, winning on both sides of the equation.

FAQ

Can these heavy-duty sprayers handle big vehicles like buses and trucks?

Yes. At NS Corporation, we make a variety of wheel wash machines. While some are specialized for smaller vehicles and higher volumes of traffic, many of our heavy-duty sprayers work specifically with large vehicles.

Our sprayers work on big-rig trucks, buses, and other shipping and transit vehicles. Each sprayer system is designed to work with a range of tire and wheel sizes, and all utilize cleaning solutions that optimize cleanliness to promote longevity for tires and wheels.

Can I add a wheel wash machine to an existing car wash?

This will depend on the design of your existing wash, but in many cases, yes. Modular wheel wash designs allow you to install them into existing workflows. Many of our systems are designed for pull-through automated washes. Simply add the wheel wash station inside your system, and you can advance the thoroughness of your wash.

Similarly, you can replace or upgrade an existing wheel wash in your car wash system. Select the appropriate model, and NS Corporation can even arrange a professional installation to make sure everything works smoothly.

How do zero-degree nozzles work?

The degrees in a nozzle refer to the designed spread of water in the nozzle itself. For example, a 40-degree nozzle can spread water over a 40-degree pattern, right out of the sprayer. Such a design is great for reducing pressure and hitting a bigger area at once.

A zero-degree nozzle does not spread the water at all. It does not have an oscillator to increase the area. This maximizes pressure, which is great for removing stubborn grime and debris. Zero-degree nozzles are typically avoided for cleaning paint-coated parts of a vehicle, but they work better on tires and wheels — especially since these areas tend to get the most dirt and grime.

Keep in mind that after leaving the nozzle, the water will still spread out to cover an area, but the spread will be lessened for a zero-degree nozzle as compared to other design options.
